Geraldine Wilson Simmons, age 91, passed away peacefully at her home on May 30, 2025.

Born on July 28, 1933, Geraldine was the cherished daughter of Sam and Gladys Wilson. From an early age, she embodied warmth, kindness, and a deep love for those around her—traits that became the hallmark of her long and generous life.

Geraldine’s home was a place of welcome. Whether family, friend, or stranger, everyone had a seat at her table. She had a gift for making people feel seen, heard, and valued, often with a warm meal and a listening ear. Her open heart created a legacy of hospitality that will be remembered by all who knew her.

A lifelong lover of animals, Geraldine surrounded herself with the comforting presence of her furry companions, who brought her joy and companionship through the years.

She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for her compassion, her unwavering generosity, and the simple, steadfast love she offered to all.

A celebration of life will be held June 27, 2025, from 1-4 at the Oregon Trail Center in Montpelier Idaho - 320 N 4th ST
