Christine Parker Obituary

Christine Passey Parker 1968-2023
“Mother to all”

It’s with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Christine Passey Parker, Age 55 of Montpelier Idaho. She was a loving wife, a nurturing and selfless mother and proud grandma, a beautiful daughter, and irreplaceable sister. Chris was born March 15, 1968, at the Logan LDS Hospital to Deloy Passey and Debra Lee Passey.

The ones left behind to mourn her loss but celebrate her life are; her soulmate and husband of 36 years, Brett Verlyn Parker, son Kevin Skyler Parker, son Joshua Humpherys, daughter and friend Jamie Leigh Parker, son Kasin Jett Parker, the light of Chris’s eye Lakyn Skye Rhodes Parker, Donna Passey (mom), sister Lynette Passey-Christensen (Lane), sister Kimberly Cope (Greg), brother Jarrod Passey (Alison), brother Dorian Grunig (Angela), sister Kamile Williamson (Tyler), mothers-in-law MaryAnn McLeod and Cassadra Parker, and sisters-in-law Dana, Kimberlee, Nicholle, and Elisa.

Christine was preceded in death by her mother Debra Lee Passey, her father Deloy Passey, her fathers-in-law Verlyn Parker, John McLeod, sister-in-law Jolyn Knutti, and numerous grandparents.

On August 6th Chris went missing for almost 7 months. On February 21st she was found by a Nevada Rancher moving his cattle near the Eugene Mountain Range. Our family would like to thank all those that helped in many different ways. Some chose to donate, others physically went out searching. Many people kept her online posts going so it went across many of the Northern States. There were those that fasted and prayed fervently, and always kept her and our family in their thoughts daily. We are so grateful to all you all.

Christine will always be remembered for the service she gladly gave of herself to others. She never said harsh or unkind words about anyone. The knowledge she shared with each one of us has made a huge impact in all of our lives. She loved hiking and being at the cabin with Brett and the Kids. Chris loved the sand between her toes in the summer, absolutely loved her animals. She always said she would rather be around her dogs than people. Chris was not only a good mother but also a loving grandmother. She was a pillar of strength, a source of comfort and a shining example of unconditional love. Her memory will forever be cherished, and her legacy will live on through the love she shared with her family.  It’s going to be empty here without you, she had a smile that could light up a room. But for now, you belong to Heaven, maybe look down on us once in a while. The reunion in Heaven I’m sure was fantastic, no more aches or pains. You did it Chris, you finished strong.

A memorial for Christine will be held in the spring and we will notify all friends and family.
