Beverly (Arnell) Phelps

Beverly Arnell Phelps of St. Charles, Idaho, passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 96 after a short illness. As much of her family that could be in attendance on short notice was with her.

Beverly was born on January 7, 1929, to Edward and Beatrice (Bolton) Arnell.

She attended Fielding High School in Paris, Idaho, and received numerous commendations for her good grades throughout her school career.

She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and followed the example of our Savior to help those in need. She enjoyed delivering mail and running errands for others and rode her bicycle and walked regularly into her mid-eighties.

Beverly was the proud mother of 3, grandmother of 7, and great-grandmother of 11.

She is survived by her brother, Edward Kay Arnell of Logan, Utah, three sons and their spouses, Kelly Phelps and Carol Folette of St. Charles, Kraig and Sharon Phelps of Saratoga Springs, Utah, and Brady and Elizabeth Phelps of Powhatan, Virginia.

She is preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Justin Walter Phelps Jr.

There will be a viewing Saturday, January 18th, at 12:00 PM at the St. Charles meeting house, and the funeral will follow at 1:30 PM.
