Amber Alleman Smith (sometimes known as “Bob”) passed away at her home in Nounan, Idaho on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 after a courageous fight with liver cancer. She was born on June 7, 1976 to Diane and Blake Alleman.
Amber attended schools in Georgetown, Montpelier, and Rick’s College in business and got her associate degree. She used her education in several jobs-her favorite being the post master in Georgetown, Idaho.
Amber met her future husband in Kindergarten and the attraction stuck. She married her very best friend (Jody Kent Smith), on August 26, 1995 in the Logan LDS Temple. They were blessed with four children. Shawnee, Bailee, Macadee, and Kaleb.
Amber had a wonderful sense of humor, and an awesome smile, a desire to serve and a love for others. She held many service callings in the church including, Primary President, Relief Society President, which she poured her whole heart into. Her greatest joys were her 5 grandchildren, (soon to be 7) her horses, dogs, and all family activities and doing anything with Jody!
