Yvonne McConnaughey, 70, Passed away at the Bear Lake Skilled Nursing Facility on November 19th after a battle with a long illness. She was born on October 11th ,1952 where she spent most of her childhood with her big brother Ramon and cousin Danny wreaking havoc on the Lauridsen Ranch. When she was 19, she was introduced to Robert Bergem McConnaughey and they were married June 5th, 1972. On September 22nd, 1974, they brought a little red headed baby girl into the world. She always told everyone it was the best thing she ever did in her life. Her daughter was her best friend. Yvonne worked as a florist for many years and had so many fun memories and stories to tell of her friends she worked with. She loved watching cooking shows and her Golden Girls on tv. She loved the outdoors and going on picnics with the family. She is survived by her daughter Yolanda (David) Hunzeker, Grand Daughter Rachel (Tyson) Lee, Grandsons Matthew and Brandon Streitberger, Two Great Grandsons, Brother, Nieces and many friends Thank you to all the kindhearted nursing staff that helped her at the skilled nursing facility. There will be a luncheon at the Allred building at the fairgrounds on December 10th at 2:00 for friends and family to celebrate her life
