Weldon Eborn, 92, died July 23, 2015, in the Bear Lake Manor, Montpelier, Idaho. He was born January 28, 1923 in Lanark,Idaho, to Arthur Phipp Eborn and Nina Louise Passey. He married Fern Larsen of Montpelier in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple on January 15, 1943. Fern passed away August 26, 1997. He later married Phyllis Smith of Georgetown on July 18, 1998. Phyllis passed away February 2013.

Weldon was very industrious with his hands and loved to create simple things into works of art. He enjoyed camping, cutting and hauling wood to heat his home, and listening to music. Most of all he enjoyed his family whether it be camping or getting together at Christmas time. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Weldon is survived by one son, Leon, of Paris and one daughter, Lois (Lance), of Sandy, Utah, one daughter-in-law, Carol of Paris, and one sister, Helen Rae Ridge of Soda Springs; stepchildren: Drew Smith (Connie) of Georgetown, Connie Declark (Joe) of Georgetown, and Lynn Ann Parker (Weston) of Lanark. Weldon had 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Weldon was preceded in death by Fern Eborn, Phyllis Eborn, Lynn Eborn, Kim Eborn, and Paul Eborn.

Funeral services were held Monday, July 27 in the Paris Stake Center. Burial will be in the Paris Cemetery. A special thanks to the Bear Lake Nursing Home and Bear Lake Manor and all of their staff for their kindness to our father over the many years.
