Alleman
August 10, 1961 – November 20, 2024
Larry Wayne Alleman, age 63, passed away on November 20, 2024, at Portneuf Medical Center from a massive heart attack.
Wayne was born on August 10, 1961, the oldest of seven children born to Larry and Karolyn Alleman. He grew up on the family farm in Bern, Idaho, where he developed a deep love for farming especially on a John Deere tractor.
Wayne served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Sapporo, Japan Mission. After returning from his mission, Wayne attended Idaho State University, where he earned a degree in the Diesel Electric program. He later returned to Japan where he lived for several years and taught English.
Wayne's passion for learning inspired him to constantly seek new knowledge, always aiming to better himself so he could help others. He dedicated 11 years to teaching auto mechanics at Bear Lake High School and recently expanded his program to include ISU Diesel Tech. Wayne had a deep love for his students and an extraordinary gift for making everyone feel valued and important.
Throughout his life, Wayne served faithfully in many callings for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He devoted much of his time to helping his family, and was especially committed to his mother, Karolyn.
Wayne is survived by his mother, Karolyn Alleman, as well as many siblings, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry, and his brother, Jason.
