Valerie "Squeaky" Davis was welcomed with open arms by her mother, step-father, father and many more family and friends on January 25, 2024- We know it was a beautiful reunion. She was born on August 1st, 1960 in Evanston Wyoming to Marilyn and Edmund Paterno. The day she was born, her dad gave her the nickname Squeaky, and it stuck with her for life. Squeaky was the rock of the family, but she was also a spitfire. You never knew what was going to come out of her mouth; often times her children would find themselves nervous to be out in public with her, in the most loving way. Her number one joy in life was being Nana to her 8 amazing grandchildren. She is survived by her 3 children, Katie, Rachel (Rhandi), Matthew (Haley), her 8 grandchildren, Parker (DoodleBug), Briggs (MonkeyButt), Lylah (Lylas), Serenity (Hunnah Bunna), Silas (Si Guy), Timberlee & Saige (the Twins) Nolan (Shep), her siblings Joey (Brad) and Rob (Nancy), and many nieces and nephews along with lots of "adopted" children and grandchildren plus her beloved cat, Winnie. Squeaky loved all things pink. The family has requested, if possible, please wear something pink in her honor to her service.
