Trelma Call
The morning of May 3, 2012, surrounded by family, Trelma Call returned home to Heavenly Father. Now she is reunited with her sweetheart, after being separated for 41 years, and also with those loved ones who have preceeded her in death. Trelma S. Reeves Edwards Warren Call was born Jan. 8, 1923 to Annie S. Lemberg Reeves of Auburn, Wyoming. She was the youngest of four girls, Vaunda Adams, Rhea Lee, Goldie Hallday Rudd. Her mother was the custodian of teh school house and rock church in Auburn. Trelma would help her mother with the work. Trelma was brought up in the LDS?church and remembers always going to church as a young girl. She was a teacher, counselor and president of the Primary and also served in other church callings. In high school she met LaVal Edwards of Freedom. He proposed in seminary and of course she said yes. They were married Nov. 20, 1940 in the Idaho Falls Court House. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS?Temple. They had their first child in 1942. In 1944 he went into the armed services and served in World War II. He received an honorable discharge in 1946. They built a home in Murray, Utah and had six more children. On June 9, 1971 LaVal died, leaving Trelma with five children living at home. This was a very difficult time in her life. On June 6, 1980 she married Raymond Warren of Freedom. He passed away after for years on Feb. 15, 1984. Trelma married Carwin Call of Freedom on April 5, 1989. They enjoyed traveling, home and family. He passed away on Sept. 4, 1996. Then her daughter, Trudy, move to Wyoming to live with her. Trelma liked traveling, crocheting, quilting, yard work and spending time with her family. Those times were very special to her. She loved teh gospel and had a strong testimony of its truthfulness. She is survived by her children: Trudy Williams, Freedom; Shauna (Kent) Edwards, SLC; Penny (Richard) Soltis, SLC; Randy (Polli) Edwards, Bedford; Jesse (Linda) Edwards, SLC; Bruce (Sheryl) Edwards, Auburn; Kelly (Patti) Edwards of Chino, Calif.; 23 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, three sisters, three husbands and a son, Kent Edwards, and a granddaughter, Melisa Soltis. Funeral services were held Monday, May 7, 2012. Internment took place in the Murray, Utah Cemetery.
