Terrell Donniel Jensen was born at home in Montpelier, Idaho on August 17. 1935 to Donniel William Jensen and Frances Solum Jensen.
He passed away on April 21, 2026, from Parkinsons’ Disease.
He grew up in Pocatello, ID making many trips back to the Bear Lake Vally visiting family. He graduated from Pocatello High School in 1953. His love of cars became his Life’s work. He worked as a parts man for the Pontiac & Cadillac Garage until his Father and Uncle, Tom Wood purchased the Dodge Dealership in Montpelier.
Jensen Wood Motor Co. was started in November 1955 and had many changes over the years. They became a full line Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram Dealership.
They delivered heating oil first as BeeLine and later as Husky Oil. They also had Hesston Machinery, GMC Trucks, Cushman Scooters and PDQ Auto Parts.
After the death of Donniel in 1974, Terrell became the sole owner of the Dealership until it was sold in 2023. It was 3rd generation Dealership that operate for 67 years.
Terrell was very mechanical and a talented craftsman. He ran an upholstery shop for several years. He enjoyed wood working and not only could play the violin, be he restored and built several.
His love of building saw many construction and remodeling jobs on their home and outbuildings. The patio area was a favorite for many family get togethers and functions, with the satellite dish patio covers and firepits.
After retirement, Terrell & Nancy joined the Sam’s Traveling Club of Pocatello and enjoyed many years of traveling around the country and made many lifelong friends.
They had many fishing boats over the years and most sported the name “NanSea”.
He loved camping, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and many trips with family and friends. He was an avid collector and enjoyed many great finds from their travels.
Terrell is survived by his wife, Nancy Cooper Jensen of almost 70 years, Brother Bud (Marty) Jensen, Children, Kirk (Lorrie) Jensen, Brent Bunn and Tracy (Steve) Lawley, 8 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was Preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Susie Bunn.
There aren’t any services with an Interment in Montpelier Cemetery.
The family would like to express their gratitude to everyone at Bear Lake Memorial that took such loving care of him in his last days.
