Lindsay in Montpelier, Idaho, Shauna spent her early years in Bern, Idaho The family later moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho for 2 1/2 years for her father's work. She started school, took dance and piano lessons. She learned to ride her bike and loved getting Ice Cream Cones from the Musical Ice Cream Truck with hers usually ending upside down on the sidewalk. In 1966, the family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, again for her father's work. This is where she spent most of her growing up years. She attended Vegas Verdes Elementary School and Hyde Park Jr. High. She loved going to the swimming pool to swim and making friends. In 1974, the family once again moved back to the Bear Lake Valley moving into the newly remodeled home that her mother grew up in, in Bern Idaho. She rode the Bern school bus to Montpelier for school. She was a Cheerleader and graduated from Bear Lake High School. She spent the summer after graduating working for Jim Rich at Bear Lake Drug and waiting tables at the LaMarel's Valley Inn, the family restaurant. In the fall, she attended a year at Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho and then attended the Beau LaRaine College of Beauty in Logan, Utah. While in Logan, she met and married her husband (later divorced) and to this union her daughter Amber Gene Cole was born on June 12, 1984. The family lived in Garland, Utah Shauna moved to Brigham City, Utah with her daughter and was employed at Thiokol. On September 20, 1990 Shauna was in a horrific car accident in Brigham City, Utah, going to work, that left her critically injured. She was in a Coma for several months. She fought her way back to us and went through extensive therapy learning to walk, talk & write etc. She then spent several weeks in Concord, CA going through rehabilitation. She was a trooper through all of this with her mom being her biggest supporter. When she was able to be released and come home she made Montpelier, Idaho her home for the duration of her life. Shauna had struggles throughout her life that were the result of her accident but was able to care for herself which was a miracle from where she started with all of this. Shauna could be the loudest person in the room and owned it. She just liked to have fun and didn't care what other people thought about her. She was witty and always had a comeback. She enjoyed her early morning drives around town, watching older movies and TV shows and taking naps. She loved her daughter and her grandchildren very much. Shauna is survived by her daughter Amber Wardle (Dallin), mother (Marlene Lindsay), sister Laurie Buck (Mike), brothers Tracy Lindsay (Sheila), Jeff Lindsay (Cindy), her grandchildren (Aubrie, Jaxon, Rae, Caydence, Olivia, Deklynn & Delilah), and many nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts.
