Rowleen Johns Keetch 71, passed away Friday August 2, 2024, due to a stroke. She lived a life full of services and kindness.
Rowleen was born July 29, 1953, in Afton, WY to Roland and Marilyn Johns. She was the fourth child of eight. She lived in Star Valley, WY until she was 10 years old and then her family moved to Cokeville, WY where she graduated from high school in 1971.
On November 23, 1973, Rowleen was married and sealed to Lynn Keetch in the Ogden, UT temple. Together they have five children: Thad, Heidi, Jay, Layne, and Katie. Rowleen is a dedicated mother and wife and did so much to serve her family over the years. She found great joy in raising her family. Rowleen often said her greatest joy was being a grandmother and being actively involved in their lives.
Rowleen worked side by side with her husband on the farm in Wardboro for many years. Working as a family, she and Lynn taught their children the value of work. After most of her children were raised Rowleen went to work as a Billing Specialist at Bear Lake Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed her job and enjoyed the people she worked with.
If Rowleen knew you, she loved you and made you feel welcome. She has a deep connection and love for her family, ward family, and community family. She was always serving others. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and held many callings. She served everyone around her and has many fond memories serving the children, youth, and adults of her faith. She loves the gospel of Jesus Christ and has a powerful testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel and a deep love for her Savior. Rowleen is survived by loving husband of 50 years, Lynn. Her five children; Thad (Tracy), Heidi (James), Jay (Kirsten), Layne (Rebecca L.), and Katie (Jason); her eighteen grandchildren; one great grandchild, and seven siblings.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 8, 2024, at 11am at the Dingle Church 4197 Dingle Rd, Dingle, ID. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Schwab- Matthews Mortuary 702 Clay St, Montpelier ID, from 6:00 to 8:00pm and again on Thursday, August 8, 2024, from 9:00 to 10:45am at the Dingle Church
