Renee T. Earley passed away on December 30, 2016 at her home in Laketown with her family by her bedside. She was 72 years old.
Renee was born November 27, 1944 in Pocatello, Idaho, the daughter of Delos Seymour and Reva Karlson Thornock. She had one older sister, Sharon.
She grew up like any other kid in Pocatello, Playing outdoors, riding bikes and playing cowboys, or girls', and riding the porch rail like it was her faithful horse Tonto.
Renee was only ten years old when her dad passed away on July 24 1955.
She was fourteen years old when they moved to Laketown after Reva married Alison Kearl.
She graduated from North Rich High School in May of 1963.
Renee married Robert Earley on June 14, 1963. They have four children, Del Robert Earley, (Linda), Harrisville, UT; Wayne George Earley, (Carol) Laketown, UT; Brent Allison Earley, (Jesi) Provo, UT; and Barbara Reva Fairbourn, (David), Laketown, UT.
She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and the LDS Church and served in various ward and stake callings.
She worked for Rich County Schools as a teacher's aide and librarian.
She helped set up and operated the Laketown Drive Inn for its first five years.
Renee and Robert owned and operated the Old Rock Store and the Randolph Country Store for many years.
Renee is survived by her children Del, Wayne, Brent and Barbara, 12 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, and 2 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert, her parents Delos and Reva, her step father Alison, her sister Sharon, her sister-in-law Donna Smith and her two brothers–in-law Alfred Smith and Don Hemmert.
