Ray Paul Gertsch was born April 6, 1925 to John and Amy Smith Gertsch in Sharon, Idaho. Ray passed away May 1st 2018 at the Bear Lake Memorial Hospital. He was proceeded in death by his parents and all of his siblings.

Ray worked for the Union Pacific Rail Road as an engineer and lived his whole life in the Montpelier area. Most recently he was a resident of the Bear Lake Manor.

There will be a brief gathering at the Liberty Cemetery on Friday, May 10th at 2:00 for anyone who wishes to pay their respects. He didn't want much fuss made over his passing, but those of us who loved him, will miss him very much.
