Funeral services will be held on (date) at the Montpelier 1st/4th Ward church, 485 S 7th St. in Montpelier at (time). Interment will be held at the Montpelier cemetery following the funeral.

Neal was born on January 16, 1961, in Reno, Nevada. He was welcomed into his family by his parents, Thomas Albert Parkin and Joyce Judkins Parkin, and his sister, Tracy. He grew up in Murray, Utah and graduated from high school in that area. Neal worked in various capacities, but he loved most being on the road driving trucks.

Neal was married to his loving wife, Joy Hymas, on September 10, 1993. He brought to their marriage his beloved three children whom he adored. Neal and Joy were later sealed in the Logan, Utah Temple on June 25, 2010.

Neal loved the outdoors and enjoyed being in the mountains camping, fishing, and hunting whenever the opportunity arose. His love for fishing was fostered by his uncle Newell, and he spent many memorable fishing outings with his uncle. He had fond memories of fishing and camping with his family at Flaming Gorge Dam. He continued to enjoy his love for the outdoors throughout his life.

Neal is survived by his wife, Joy; his children, Elizabeth Mecham, Brittany Draper [Casey], and James Parkin [Sheryl]; his sister, Tracy Pate [Marvin]; 13 grandchildren, and many nephews, nieces, and other family and friends.

Neal is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Joyce Parkin, and a sister-in-law, Teresa Hymas Widmer.

Neal was known for his kindness and acceptance of others unconditionally. He will be dearly missed by those who knew him.

Funeral services will be held July 13th at the Montpelier 1st/4th Ward at 11:00 a.m.
