Nancy Marie Cochran,54, Passed away suddenly on May 6th 2014 in Yuma, Arizona. She was born on April 23rd 1960, in Anchorage Alaska. She is the oldest Daughter to John Leroy Owings and 2nd oldest daughter to Zelma Jene Owings. At a young age she loved helping papa with the horses, she was a avid Barrel Racer, She had a great passion for horses. She attended high school in Springfield Oregon where she graduated. She frequented the skating rink with friends and was always loved by those around her. Nancy was 19 when she welcomed her 1st daughter Rebecca Byers (Owings). At 23 she welcomed her youngest daughter Susan Towles. Nancy had recently started looking into family history and wanted to know as much as she could, Family was so important to her. Nancy Married Steve Cochran May 1st 2010. In 2011 Nancy got the news she had breast cancer. Nancy fought a long hard battle with breast and bone cancer. Nancy and Steve had started to snowbird to Yuma, Arizona. There was something about Yuma that she just loved. Nancy is a member of the LDS church she really fancyed Gwen Peterson she was a dear friend. Nancy had obtained a degree in IT. Nancy is what some people would call a "computer nerd". She loved playing computer games and the playstation with her children and husband. She was preceeded in death by her Papa, Ruben Edmunds and Granny, Opal Edmunds. She is survived by Grandmother Vista Friday, Springfield Oregon, Her parents Zelma Owings (Edmunds), John LeRoy Owings, Springfield Oregon. Siblings Bruce Owings, Green River Wyoming, Lisa Kroner Springfield Oregon, Kathianne Lewis Seattle Washington. Husband Steve Cochran, Cokeville Wyoming. Daughters Rebecca Byers (Owings) Cokeville Wyoming, Susan Towles Moses Lake Washington. 2 Granddaughters Annalissa Balboa and Wrenlynn Byers.
