We are saddened to announce the passing of Mona Lynn Christensen. Mona, age 54, was born in Montpelier, Idaho on April 26th, 1969 to John Oliver and Leola Petersen. She passed away peacefully in her home after a courageous battle with cancer on March 1st, 2024.

She touched the lives of those around her with her caring personality and kind heart. She was loved by so many. Some of her favorite past times included hiking, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren and those she loved.

Mona is survived by numerous relatives and friends including her mother Leola Lee Petersen, her significant other, Bryce, her three children, Nikki Greenwald, Gary Christensen, Bryan Christensen  and their spouses, ten grandchildren, two great grand children and ten siblings. She is preceded in death by her father John Oliver Petersen (Pete) and brother Robert (Bob) Petersen.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date with details provided to family and friends when arranged.
