Michael Todd Johnson, age 35, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 13th, 2025.

Michael had a deep love for music and an even deeper love for his family. Though life brought its share of challenges, he treasured the moments when his family could be together. He was known by many as a light—full of warmth, humor, and authenticity. His ability to connect with others, to listen, to laugh, and to lift others up made him someone people were naturally drawn to.

Michael proudly served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves, where he built lasting bonds with his fellow Marines. He was deeply respected and loved by those who served alongside him.

He is survived by his father, Todd Johnson, and his mother, Lezlee Monroe; his oldest sister, Kristen J. Lloyd, and his younger sisters: Jessica Bates, Amanda Miller, Angela Bates, Elizabeth Ailshie, and Malissa Bates; and his beloved son, Cayden. He was also a proud uncle to Lillian and Grayson Lloyd, and William Ailshie, who brought him great joy.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel in Georgetown, Idaho. Family and friends are invited to gather from 10 a.m. to 11:45 p.m. for a time of remembrance and connection, followed by the funeral at 12 p.m. The casket will be closed.
