McKay Wood

McKay "Skeeter" Mikesell Wood, age 28 on July 23, 2011 at his home. He was born Sept. 18, 1982, the son of Donald Wood and Ruth and Jody Allen.

Skeeter graduated from Star Valley High School in 2001. He loved scouting, hunting, fishing, camping and especially loved being with family and friends. He was very artistic and loved to cook.

Following graduation, Skeeter attended Western Wyoming Community College and made the dean's list.

He was employed with the oil field.

Skeeter was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He is survived by his parents; siblings, Olivia (Jason) England; Audrey Wood; David Wood; Sidney Allen; Blake (Rachel) Allen; Andy (Nichole) Allen; and Abby (Roman) Wolfley.

He is also survived by his grandparents, Tom and Elaine Wood.

Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at noon in the Afton Tabernacle. Burial took place in the Afton Cemetery.
