Lynn Alfred Wells was born to John and Edith on May 16, 1948 in Montpelier, Idaho. He passed away peacefully on September 29, 2016 in Montpelier, Idaho with family by his side.

Lynn enjoyed growing up learning to work the land and taking great care of his animals. He had many wonderful experiences with his parents, brothers, and sisters; and often told stories of his childhood.

He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served a mission in the Great Lakes, USA Mission and faithfully in other church callings.

On April 12, 1974, he married his eternal companion, Lorna Skinner in the Logan LDS Temple. This union resulted in nine wonderful children.

Rodeo was an important part of Lynn's life and regardless of what else got done; family and rodeo took highest priority.

Lynn was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter. He is survived by his wife Lorna, his nine children, their spouses, and 31 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on October 4th, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Dingle, Idaho LDS Chapel and interment will be in the Montpelier, Idaho cemetery.
