Lillian Aleen Harris's Obituary

Lillian Aleen Taylor Harris, a resident of Dingle, Idaho, in Bear Lake County, passed away on February 11, 2015. She was born March 24, 1920, in Burnt Prairie, Ill., to Charles Crittendon and Sue Myrtle Ratley Taylor. She was the 4th child in a family of 10 children. She was a member of the LDS Church and carried a strong faith in Christ as her personal savior. Then she married Elwood (Woody) Harris in 1997, and remained living in Dingle until her death. She loved cooking and keeping a clean house. She loved flowers and gardening, and they had a beautiful yard. She had a kind, giving heart and she shared her life's bounty with family and friends. She was always there to care for her family when needed. She cared for her aging brother, Cyril, for 30 years at Dingle before he passed away in 1996.

Lillian Aleen is survived by her husband, Elwood (Woody), Harris & nieces and nephews.Preceding her in death, four brothers, William E. Taylor, Cyril H. Taylor, Charles E. Taylor, Harold W. Taylor, four sisters, Luna A. Taylor, Laura Etta Unser, Ina Bell Beck, Rozella Clark, and her best friend, Dorothy Lewis.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 12:00 noon in the Dingle LDS Chapel. She requested her body to be cremated.
