Irene
Sorenson
November 14, 1944 – April 2, 2025
Irene Kubin Crane Sorenson born November 14, 1944, was reunited with the love of her life April 2, 2025.
As a young girl she herded sheep and loved helping on the farm. As an adult she raised sheep with her husband Warren.
They enjoyed going to the horse races together.
The slots were one of her favorite things to do. She would never turn down the chance to go gambling.
Irene had a love for all the many animals she had over the years, from horses and her many cats to her little dogs.
Her baby was her little dog, Morgan. She spoiled him rotten, and he never left her side. She called him her little Hitler because of his attitude.
Irene was one of the hardest working people you could ever meet.
She has had many different jobs over the years. She worked at the helmet factory, was a Tipple operator for Rhone- Poulenc, and had many other jobs. She was a lady that could do it all!
She was known to have one of the most beautiful yards in Georgetown. She took pride and was very proud of her yard. She was always out in her yard planting flowers, or pulling weeds or mowing her yard. She liked her grass to look like a golf course and always had the greenest grass.
If you knew Irene, you would know that she had a sailor's mouth and told you exactly what she thought. She was a sassy little lady!
She had three great grandchildren, Stetson, Chazlee & Hudson. She was the one that picked out Hudson's name. She adored all three of them and loved any chance she had to brag about them. She loved to go to Stetson's football games and cheer him on.
Irene is survived by Daughters; Tanya Julander, Tammy (Scott) Wilcox. Grandchildren; Shadow Lewis, and Sable Lewis, (Wayne). Greatgrandchildren; Stetson, Chazlee Jorgenson and Hudson Bartschi. Sisters; Scoobie (Ivan) Williams, Maria Lyon and Cindy Taylor (Joe). Brothers; Hon Crane, and Steve (Linda) Shultis. Sister in Laws; Anna Campbell and Marsha Crane.
Irene has left so many heartbroken family members behind, and all of us will miss her so much. We know that she had the best reunion with her husband, Warren Sorenson and her little Bailey.
Until we meet again. We love you!
