Florann Louise Jenkinson Sparks 76, passed away on April 10, 2014 at the Bear Lake Memorial Skilled Nursing facility. She was born April 6, 1938 to Charles Duncan and Ethel Louise Marzoli Jenkinson in Inglewood California, the oldest of three children. As a child, Florann lived in California, The Dalles Oregon, Twin Falls Idaho, and later moving to Montpelier where her father owned and operated Jenkinson Equipment. She graduated from Montpelier High School in 1956. After High School, she pursued a career in nursing, graduating from St. Alphonsus school of nursing in Boise as an R.N. in 1959. She then moved to Wichita, Kansas where she worked in the pediatric department at Wichita Hospital from 1959-1966.She married Earl Crandall in 1960, they were later divorced. She moved back to Montpelier in 1966 where she worked at Bear Lake Memorial for 37 years, retiring in Sept. 2003. She met and later married Elliot Eugene (Rusty) Sparks on December 10, 1966. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan L.D.S. Temple in May of 1972. They have 4 children Barbara, Michael, Joanne, and John. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She served in many positions from Primary, Relief Society, Young Womens, and as a Cub Master and Den Leader in the Cub Scouts. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her brother William (Kathy) Jenkinson of Alpine, WY., her sister Barbara (Larry) Hayes of Montpelier, her 4 children Barbara (Paul) Hemmert of Springville, UT., Michael (Jennifer) Sparks Montpelier, Joanne (Scott) Jensen of Ovid, and John (Melissa) Sparks of Stevensville, MT., 13 grandchildren, and 2 great grand children. Funeral Services will be Tuesday April 15 at 11:00 in the Montpelier 1st/4th Ward building. Burial will be in the Dingle Cemetery.
