Faye (Wixom) VanDarlin, age 84, of Montpelier, Idaho, passed away on September 7, 2026, at Bear Lake Memorial Hospital.

She was born on July 22, 1942, in Montpelier, Idaho, to Kenneth George Wixom and Elma Welker. Faye enjoyed her time working at Bear Lake Memorial Hospital, spending time with her friends and family, and participating in outdoor activities like fishing, hunting, boating, and camping.

She is survived by her son, Boyd VanDarlin; her grandchildren, Nic (Brykale) VanDarlin, Lyndsey (Lance) Walker, and Devery VanDarlin; and her great-grandchildren, Shaylee and Traxtyn VanDarlin, Kynleigh, Kolby and Kashtyn Walker, Arlie and Emma VanDarlin.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth Robert VanDarlin; her daughter, Susan VanDarlin; and her parents, Kenneth and Elma Wixom.

Service Details:

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life service and interment alongside her husband at the Montpelier Cemetery will take place at a later date.
