Eva McCombs
Eva Louise Henderson McCombs, 81, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2011 in Maple Valley, Washington. She was born in Smoot on Feb. 7, 1930 to Thomas Wallace Henderson and Katherine Stumpp.
Eva married Dr. Rey H. McCombs of Grover. Later the divorced.
She lived most of her adult life, Calif., and spent the last nine years in Maple Valley, Wash., living with her daughter Marilyn and family.
Eva had a bubbly, infectious personality and loved talking with friends and family. She had a tremendous love for her children and grandchildren and they have an enormous love for her.
She is a member of the Church of Jesus of Latter-Day saints and has held numerous church positions throughout her life. She will be missed greatly by her children and grandchildren, sister, brothers and many friends.
Eva is survived by her four children: Marilyn Mcombs Pettit (Scott); Dr. Kathleen McCombs; Dr. Ronald McCombs (Robin Beal); Carol McCombs Nelson (Rick); 11 grandchildren, a sister Leoyce Henderson Broadbent (Norville); and two brothers, Dewey Henderson; and Leslie (Marylou) Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, four sisters, and two children, Reva McCombs and Lisa McCombs Quilter.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Aug. 5, 2011 at the Maple Valley, Wash., LDS Stake Center at 11 a.m.
A Viewing will be held Thursday, Aug. 4. 2011 at the Marlett Funeral Home. 713 Central Ave. Kent, Wash., from 6:30-8:00 p.m. and Friday prior to the service from 9-10:30 a.m
Interment and graveside services will be held Monday, Aug. 8, 2011 at 10 a.m at the Afton cemetery.
