Don Edward Lampe

Donald Edward Lampe was born Sept. 3, 1962 in Edward and Barbra Lampe in Sana Rosa, Calif. In 1967 he moved to Star Valley with his two big brothers, Mike and Randy, and his big sister, Krissy. He atteded school at Star Valley High School. In 1995 he started working for the family business, Lampe Brothers. That same year he met the love of his life, Kathleen Roger. They were married in February 2001. Don was a fan of the outdoors. As long as he was on something traveling fast he was happy. He was a die hard sports fan and loved rooting for the Chiefs on Sundays. He also loved spending his time off riding whether it was a snowmobile, 4-sheeler, boat or his razor. He passed doing what he loved. Don is survived by his dog, Oreo; his parents, Edward and Barbra; brothers, Mike and Randy; sister, Krissy Stolebarger; wife, Kathleen; children, Joshua Roger, Michael Casey Excarzaga, Jessica Roger and Kristen Roger; and grandchildren Kasie Roger, Candice, Rayleigh, Noah Edward and Xavier. A celebration of life for Don Lampe will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the Schwab Funeral Chapel. A viewing will take place from 12:30-1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the Schwab Chapel.
