Obituary

Daryl Morris Teuscher, 74, passed away on April 26, 2026. He was born on May 9, 1951, and was raised in Geneva, Idaho, where he developed a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for ranch life.

Daryl loved working on the Half Circle Ranch and spent the majority of his youth and adulthood there. He was happiest on the back of a horse, and the lessons he learned from ranch life stayed with him throughout his years. He later left ranching and spent many years working in the Pocatello area for Farm Bureau Insurance, where he was known for enjoying visits with clients in their homes. He shared a contagious smile and a barreling laugh that left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Daryl faithfully served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Southern States Mission, an experience that reflected his deep commitment to his Savior and love for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

On October 27, 1978, Daryl married the love of his life, Sharran Wilkins, in Montpelier, Idaho. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Logan Utah Temple on April 9, 1982. Sharran was the light of his life and cared for him in every way.

Daryl is survived by his loving wife, Sharran Wilkins Teuscher; his children, Weston (Karen) Teuscher and Brittany (Scott) Stuart; and his cherished grandchildren, Halee Stuart, Jaycee Stuart, Haylee Teuscher, Hunter Teuscher, Hudson Teuscher, and Hazel Teuscher. He is also survived by his brother, Keith (Gaye) Teuscher, and his sister, Teresa (Troy) Hyman.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucy LaVern and Milton Teuscher; his sister, Karol Routson; his brother-in-law, Grant Loertscher; and their stillborn daughter, Melissa Teuscher.

Daryl never hesitated to take his grandchildren on horseback rides through the mountains of Geneva. He will be remembered for his steady nature, his devotion to his family, and the warmth he brought into every room. He was a selfless man who never wanted others to worry about him. He always put his family first. His life stands as a testament to the values he lived by—hard work, faith, and love for family. He will be deeply missed and we look forward to a joyful reunion.

A viewing will be held on May 9, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at the Geneva, Idaho Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the same location. Burial will take place at the Geneva, Idaho Cemetery.
