Daniel Bryan Crockett's Obituary

Daniel Bryan Crockett, age 45, of Georgetown, Idaho, passed away hopefully in his sleep on Saturday, the 20th of May 2017.

The funeral service and viewing will be held at 10:00 am to 11:45 am on Friday the 26th of May, at the Georgetown LDS church on Stringtown and Main. He will be buried at noon in the Georgetown Cemetery immediately following the service and viewing. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Schwab-Matthews Mortuary in Montpelier, ID.

Daniel was born in New Orleans, LA on the 15th of July in 1971. He graduated from Clearfield High School in 1989 and attended Weber State University for 2 years after he returned from serving a two year mission for the LDS church in Macon County, Georgia. Daniel proudly served the US ARMY and the National Guard for six years as an Artillaryman.

Daniel had endured, he was tougher and smarter than people thought. Serving the church and others was his calling in life, and that was when he was the happiest. He would do anything for anyone, and would have never hurt anybody no matter what they had done to him or said about him.

Daniel especially enjoyed the outdoors, camping in the Uintas with family the most, and fishing anywhere there was water with his friends. He loved to build and destroy, had worked construction in WY, UT, and ID. Had worked on a demo crew at the VA in SLC. Worked for Utility Trailer a few years, Lifetime Products, and also retail at Alco.

Daniel will be greatly missed and always loved by his entire family, his little brother Jeff, his twin Donny, his loving mother and father (Dave and Kristine). He has left us to soon. He is survived and loved by many aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends. Roger and Marie Whitaker, Lana Whitaker, Zeke, Dursch and Lanea Whitaker, Susan and Bob Roberts, Cindy, Peggy, Mary and Bowe, Grandpa Dean, Bart and Nathan, Nicole, Wendy, Teresa, Ryan, Darrol, Goose and Shirley, Ernesto and Karen, the other Wendy, Ursala, Mike, Ted, Doug, there are just to many to name.

Danny is preceded in death and currently with his grandparents Shirley and Idella Whitaker, Richard and Maxine Crockett, his Uncle Ward, his Uncle Roger, and his grandfathers brother Ronald.

In lieu of very expensive flowers and the fact that most of us are just unprepared idiots, we should have a go fund me opened (in his name) by Tuesday and a donation account set up at the US Bank in Montpelier if anyone would like to make a memorial or funeral donation.

The family wishes to thank everyone at the BLMH for what they have been doing for us. The people at Schwab Mathews, and the LDS faith.
