Dale Eugene Northup died July 29, 2018 on his 93rd Birthday.

Dale was born July 29, 1925 in Kansas City, Missouri to George Clinton Northup and Emma Elizabeth Jordan. He had 1 brother, Donald Earl, and 2 sisters, Norma Louise and Shirley Joan.

Dale was drafted into the Navy in 1943. He was shore based harbor defense in San Pedro, California. He was Honorably Discharged in 1946.

Dale then went into Construction. Later he went to work for Dolly Madison where he met his wife Oma Kunz. They were married on October 15, 1953. Together they had two sons, Dale Eugene Jr. and Brian Patrick.

Later Dale became a Project Engineer for Interstate Brands Corporation.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, wife, siblings and a daughter Mary Renee McElroy (From a former marriage)

He leaves behind his two beloved sons and their spouses, Gene and Linda, Brian and Melinda and son-in-law Dan McElroy. He also leaves behind 9 grandchildren, Kyle, Michelle, Ian, Kenneth, Sara, Justin, Karl, Foster, and Jonnalyn, and 13 great grandchildren Riley, Nash, Hannah, Annabelle, Brianna, Alanna, Taylor Jakob Alexis, Mia, Kelsey, Carson, and Jeffery.

He will be missed!

Visitation will be at 10:00 am and Funeral services will be at 11:00am, at Matthews Mortuary in Montpelier, Idaho, August 9, 2018. Interment will be in Montpelier City Cemetery.
