Obituary

Charlie DeSpain was born February 2, 2004, to Luke DeSpain and Jennifer Senn in Ogden, UT. He was a special soul that marched to the beat of his own drum from day one. He graduated from Two Rivers High School in 2022.

Charlie had a love for many adventurous hobbies including camping, snowboarding, hiking/backpacking, shooting, traveling with his family, games, car meets and anything else that took him outside. Charlie was the finest example of “never let them know your next move”

Charlie was a man of many passions. He loved music (he was planning his Michael Jackson tribute tattoo), anime, fashion, games and animals. He especially loved cars, and of course-anything else with a throttle.

He never judged anyone and was a friend that anyone could call on for anything. Charlie’s energy drew everyone to him.

Charlie was taken from our world on August 28, 2026, after a fatal dirt bike accident while camping with his family. Charlie was doing what he loved, with the people he loved. We find comfort in the fact that he had his big, beautiful smile on his face, and we know that he still does.

Charlie is survived by his parents; Luke and Emily DeSpain, his siblings Jennus (Shiloh), Gage, Hallie and Tyler. His grandparents; Teena Wallace and Jan and Ron Wedmore and many other family, friends, his girlfriend, and his lifelong best friend Hunter.

He was welcomed home by his loving grandpa Frank Wallace and his furry best friend Cash.

An open house Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on September 20, 2026, from 1pm-4pm at the Plain City, City Hall Building at 4160 West 2200 North.

The family would like to thank Bear Lake Sheriff Department and the many EMT’s that responded. As well as family and friends that have offered their love and support during this difficult time.
