Blaine Leavitt

Blaine Leavitt passed away Oct. 9, 2011 at the Garden Terrace Center in Salt Lake City after a valiant battle with Cancer.

He was born Jan. 23, 1922. Blaine was in the U.S. Army. After completing his military service, he drove trucks.

He was married to Elaine Parris I 1946. They had seven children: Terry Leavitt, Luarel Wilcox, Kaven Leavitt, Karen Albee, Dennis Leavitt, Leslie Vigil and Jeff Leavitt. They later divorced.

Blaine is survived by his children: 18 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lorin and Eva Seawright Leavitt; brothers Newell ELavitt and Darrel (Ona) Leavitt; and sister Arlene Johns.

His family will love him always and he will be greatly missed.

Funeral services were held on Friday Oct. 14, 2011 at the Schwab Mortuary. Internment took place in the Afton Cemetery.
