BARBARA FAY SIZEMORE HOPKINS passed away January 23, 2016 at her home in Paris, Idaho surrounded by her family. Barbara was born September 23, 1930 in Soda Springs, Idaho to Fayette Cordon and Pearl Beus Sizemore. She married her high school sweetheart, Loyal Alma Hopkins on July 21, 1947 in the Logan, Utah temple. Barbara raised her family in Soda Springs and lived there until 1973 when she and Loyal moved to Pingree. She worked alongside her sweetheart on the farm, even running the equipment. Although she loved to cook, sew, and garden; her main focus was her family and service in the gospel. In later life, she and Loyal served missions in Nauvoo (twice) and the Salt Lake City Family History Library. In 2015, they moved to Paris to be nearer their daughters. She is survived by her wonderful spouse: Loyal, two sons: Mark Loyal (Rhoda Capell) Hopkins (10 kids and 31 grandkids), Pocatello, Idaho, and Terry Lee (Nancy Smith) Hopkins (5 kids and 21 grandkids), Battle Mountain, Nevada; 3 daughters: Trudy (Larry) Hemmert (6 kids and 18 grandkids), Bloomington, Idaho, Peggy (Alan Lou) Pugmire (5 kids and 19 grandkids), Saint Charles, Idaho, and Ranae (Kent)Galloway (6 kids, 7 grandkids), Redding California; and her sister, Doris Lorette (Karol) Stephens, Soda Springs, Idaho. Barbra and Loyal have 32 grandchildren and 96 greatgrandchildren. She was the heart of our family, and will be deeply missed by her friends and family. Funeral services will be held Thursday January 28, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Paris Stake Center. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Interment will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs.
