Margie Thornock Obituary

Margie (Marge) Luella Andreason Thornock passed away on August 25, 2018. She was born on April 20, 1935 to Ivan and Gertude Andreason in Magna Utah. She was the youngest of 6 siblings. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and had several callings. At age 18 she met Jay Thornock and courted for 2 ½ months then married on April 25, 1953, then twelve years later they were married in the Logan Temple on June 23, 1965. Her and Jay lived in Ogden for around 2 years and then moved to Bloomington. Her and Jay had three children and lived throughout their lives in Bloomington. Marge worked several jobs, two of them were her favorite, Sweetwater and Bear Lake Skilled Nursing. She loved camping, hunting, embroidering and most of all being with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by one daughter, Sherry Ann (Calvin) Parker of Paris, Idaho and two sons, Jerry Kay Thornock and Don Ray (Suzette) Thornock, both of Bloomington. Eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Jay and her parents, four brothers, Loris, Myrel, Dale, and Ray, one sister Helen and one special grandson Josua Lee Thornock.

Funeral services will be held in the Paris Stake Center, Wednesday 29, 2018 at 11:00 am with a viewing from 9:00 – 10:45 am prior to services. Interment will be in the Bloomington Cemetery.
