Harry "Sam" Hazard Obituary

Sam Hazard Passed away in a house fire in his home, in Garden City, Utah on January 2, 2019.

Sam was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 29, 1952 to Harry Hazard and Miriam Schooley.

He married Jody Hazard and was a Harley Davidson Motorcycle Mechanic.  He was affiliated with The Village Church in Garden City, Utah, The New Life Christian Church in California, and The New Wine Christian Church also in California, where they had a club for motorcycles.  They were considered riders for Christ, known as The Peacemakers.

Sam had four daughters, Christina, Michelle, Trista, and Jamie. One son, Robert Allen Matthew.  Three brothers, Mark, Chuck, and John, and two sisters, Angel Christine, and Emma.  Two son in laws, Mike and Mario, and one daughter in law, Lucy.  He also had 20 grandchildren, Nelda, Johnathon, William, Howard, Ashley, Mathias, Cora, Maddy, Mikey, Gabriel, Christian, Brandon, Jazmine, Matthew, Jaisey, GiGi, Talyn, Jaxson, KJ, and Deztiny.

Sam Hazard was awesome, well loved, fun loving, and was a very well-liked member of the Garden City community.  He adored his wife Jody and loved spending time with his 20 grandchildren.  The love of his life was his Service Dog Sonny.  They were always together, never apart.  Sonny also passed away from the house fire. 

Sam’s favorite activities were playing his guitar, hunting, fishing, and most of all riding his 1979 Harley Davidson Iron Head Sporty.
